With a history dating back a century, and starting with four Italian brothers that immigrated from a town called Pietragala in the Region of Potenza, Italy to the Niagara Region, TransportCorp has very deep roots in the area and the industry.
In 1923, Sam and Tony D’Amico started an Ice and Coal delivery business in Welland, Ontario. Their main method of transportation was a horse and wagon.
Since that initial cartage company, things have changed considerably and TransportCorp is now a multi-divisional leader in the transportation space. We welcome you to read on for a glimpse of our history:
